The Defense Industries Organization, abbreviated "ساصد" (English: Sased), is a branch of the Ministry of Defense Armed Forces Logistics representing a conglomerate of over 300 companies (sister organizations, subsidiaries, subordinates and affiliates) at some point subdivided into various Business Units (Divisions): Armament Group, Ammunition Group, Chemical Group, Marine Group, Special Group, Vehicle Group.

It produces defense equipment, and develops mines and explosives.
